Announcing our New 2″ Room Ceiling Grid System

After many years producing ceiling systems for hospital operating rooms, we are proud to announce the expansion of our ceiling offerings to include a wide range of clean room applications. We developed our new “Micro TW” system specifically for clean rooms. We custom design and build each one so it fully meets any requirements.

These new ceiling systems feature a 2” structural grid, which can be walkable or non-walkable and can accommodate all necessary equipment, including diffusers, fan filter units (FFUs), lighting fixtures, access panels and more – and can also come with our new pressurized plenums.

As with all AJ Manufacturing ceiling systems, each custom clean room ceiling delivers to the job site in small sections that ship and transport easily, can fit in standard elevators and through standard doorways, and assemble quickly and easily in the field. Detailed, custom installation instructions, as well as turnkey construction/contractor management will also soon be available.

True amber diodes for PCB manufacturing

A customizable feature of our clean room ceiling system is the ability to integrate tunable LED lighting into the diffusers and FFUs – including true amber diodes, which are often required for PCB manufacturing. Lighting color and brightness are easily changeable via a wall-mounted touchscreen controller.

Unique clamping system simplifies installation

Another benefit of our clean room ceilings is the unique clamping system we’ve developed for quickly and reliably securing diffusers into the ceiling grid. The clamps eliminate the need to drill holes, which are common in other ceiling systems and can allow air leakage and contamination. We pre-install the clamps on our diffusers and fan filter units (FFUs), and they only require a simple ¼-turn to secure, drastically reducing installation time.
